TIF, a division of SPX, recently unveiled a collection of new professional IR Thermometers. The point-and-shoot style tools feature SoC (System-on-a-Chip) technology, which helps produce a more compact, lighterweight design. Additional features include:

  • An optical lens that the company says can produce more accurate measurements over a wider range of temperatures.
  • The 7610 model can be provide measurements of -58 to 750 degrees Fahrenheit (-50 to 400 degrees Celsius). The 7612 offers a range of -76 to 932 degrees F (-60 to 500 degrees C). The 7620 can provide readings from -76 to 1,400 degrees F (-60 to 760 degrees C).
  • The 7612 and 7620 come with a thermocouple interface that can extend temperature readings up to 1,999 degrees Fahrenheit. An alarm setting for when measurements are out of range, as well as Max/Min and average modes are also provided on these models.
