Inficon offers the hand held D-TEK Select Refrigerant Leak Detector with an extended sensor life and consistent high sensitivity to new refrigerant blends. The D-TEK Select's technology infrared-absorption sensor technology has a life expectancy ten times better than traditional heated diode sensors and has indicators for low battery, charging status, and sensor failure allowing the user to maintain the unit. D-TEK Select runs on nickel metal hydride batteries, eliminating corrosion and, according to the company, offering a greater charging capacity than other power sources.
