Diesel Laptops' Truck Fault Code API is integrating into Pitstop's predictive analytics platform to reduce diagnostic time.

Pitstop and Diesel Laptops are partnering on an AI-powered predictive analytics for fleets. Through the agreement, Pitstop will integrate Diesel Laptops’ Truck Fault Code API into its AI-predictive analytics platform.

"This partnership is about helping technicians be more efficient,” said Tyler Robertson, CEO and founder of Diesel Laptops. “By combining the repair information from our Diesel Repair platform with Pitstop's AI software, it's going to allow technicians to find an entirely new level of efficiency. This is another step forward to solving a massive problem in our industry."

The two companies claimed that the integration can save technicians 10 hours per week in diagnostic time by offering a better understanding of vehicle issues, via fault codes, before they even reach the shop.

Additionally, Pitstop’s algorithms will be able to access repair documents, wiring diagrams, labor time guides, and related parts information to fine-tune its alerts and notifications. With this, Pitstop and Diesel Laptops hope to reduce fleet downtime and cut maintenance costs.
