Dec. 16, 2022

NEXIQ Technologies is releasing eTechnician 2.6, which enables the PC-based solution to provide additional bi-directional diagnostic support for EPA 2020 engines and spark-assisted DPF systems on Volvo/Mack vehicles.

“Medium- and heavy-duty truck repair operations now have the ability to program injector codes for EPA 07 to current engines,” said David Shock, NEXIQ Technologies product manager. “We’ve also added the ability to program maximum vehicle speed.”

To further enhance diagnostic support for Volvo/Mack vehicles, the eTech 2.6 update now provides technicians with the ability to read the following vehicle modules: Transmission, Transmission Shift Console, Lighting Control Unit, Instrument Cluster, Safety Restraint System and Cab Climate Control.

Beyond the newly added diagnostic capabilities for Volvo/Mack trucks, eTechnician 2.6 also provides upgraded diagnostic support for WABCO and Bendix braking systems.

Bi-directional support has been added to WABCO E8, mBSP, SmartTrac and iABS modules, while diagnostic support has been added for WABCO OnLaneAlert and OnSide ADAS modules. Similarly, diagnostic support has been added for Bendix AutoVue FLC20, BlindSpotter and SafetyDirect Web Portal Processor ADAS modules.
