Associated Equipment releases graphical battery and electrical systems tester

The Model 12-2415 analyzer performs 12V battery and electrical systems testing including the ripple diode test and earth ground, as well as 24V starter and alternator systems.

Associated Equipment Corporation (AEC) released a hand-held graphical battery and electrical system tester, Model 12-2415.

“Our new and improved graphical tester is capable of testing most battery types, including AGM, WET/Flooded and Enhanced Flooded (stop-start), using a graphical interface for simplified multi- lingual use”, stated Kimberly Cottle, President and CEO of Associated Equipment. “We continue to lead the market in professional quality battery management tools and equipment and this is another step in technology advancement for our St. Louis based company.”

The Model 12-2415 analyzer performs 12V battery and electrical systems testing including the ripple diode test and earth ground as well as 24V starter and alternator systems. The tester has an integrated thermal printer with customizable header for shop use as well as the ability to key- in particulars for the battery model, vehicle license plate and customer name and is reverse- polarity protected.

The unit is sold in a blow molded carrying case to hold the tester, extra paper and optional barcode scanner 12-2416 (sold separately).

In addition, the 12-2415 has a replaceable testing cable, stores up to 70 test results and can be linked to a PC for printing/data storage.
