Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket, a leading aftermarket supplier of OE-engineered automotive replacement parts, was presented with an award for excellence at the annual Automotive Communications Awards during the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) show in Las Vegas. Continental received the Best-In-Class award for the Business-to-Business Category for ‘Training Materials’ for their instructional and informational videos, which were developed to support the VDO REDI-Sensor TPMS Sensor program.
The annual Automotive Communications Awards (ACA) program, sponsored by the Car Care Council Women’s Board and Automotive Communication Council, highlights outstanding advertising, marketing, and public relations activities on behalf of aftermarket organizations. Over 250 entries were received in 2013. The videos were developed for Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket by Barolin & Spencer Marketing Communications.
Continental’s videos feature VDO REDI-Sensor TPMS Product Manager, Steve Landis, discussing various steps for TPMS replacement and re-learn procedures for a variety of different vehicle manufacturers and models. The videos appear in sections of a 10-video series on the VDO REDI-Sensor YouTube page and have received thousands of views in the short amount of time since their release.
AnnaMaria Blose, Marketing Communications Director, Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket-NAFTA, noted, “We are very excited to receive this prestigious award from the ACA and the Car Care Council Women’s Board. Continental will continue to educate consumers about TPMS using a variety of different mediums.”
