AssetWorks and Pitstop partner on AI predictive maintenance
AssetWorks, a provider of integrated fleet, fuel, and asset management solutions, is partnering with Pitstop, a predictive telematics solution, to provide integrated, AI-powered predictive maintenance technology to fleet organizations.
"Fleet uptime is at the center of our modern supply chain. The partnership between AssetWorks and Pitstop marks the exciting introduction of an AI-based predictive analytics solution to the largest fleets in the country,” said Shiva Bhardwaj, CEO and founder at Pitstop. “Without the strain of additional hardware or time-consuming implementation, fleets can instantly benefit from improved diagnostic efficiency, reduced tow cost and downtime, all while leveraging their existing data and platform.”

In the pilot program, Pitstop’s software consolidated 10 billion data points from diverse vehicles to generate predictive insights on critical vehicle components, such as battery health, brakes, tires, and engine airflow. Combining Pitstop’s data with AssetWorks telematics devices allowed the City of Long Beach to avoid data overload and successfully predict maintenance.
“This partnership with Pitstop has the potential to change the way our customers run their fleets,” said Marc Knight, sr. industry consultant at AssetWorks. “The integration makes artificial intelligence and predictive maintenance a reality for fleets.”
