Eaton's decompression Engine Brakes are fit for a variety of duty cycles, including both medium- and heavy-duty diesel engines. Offering rocker arm-based brakes for 1 stroke, 1.5 stroke, and 2-stroke systems, the compression release engine brakes are meant for overhead cam and cam-in-block engine architectures. The 1.5 and 2-stroke engine brakes are compatible with SOHC and DOHC engine architectures and also enable an additional brake cycle per cam revolution, while the dedicated rocker provides single-stroke braking and flexibility in cam design. The integrated rockers come with and without reset, both of which are compatible with the cam in block and SOHC architectures.
