CITGO increases availability of CITGARD

CITGARD 600 15W-40 and CITGARD 700 Synthetic Blend 10W-30 are now available at all Pilot Flying J Truck Care locations.

CITGO Petroleum Corporation, in co-branding efforts with Pilot Flying J Truck Care, will now make CITGARD lubricants available to customers across the United States. Two products, CITGARD 600 15W-40 and CITGARD 700 Synthetic Blend 10W-30, are now available at all Pilot Flying J Truck Care locations.

“We’re happy to bring our CITGARD line of engine oils to a wider customer base through our partnership with Pilot Flying J Truck Care, a brand which embraces technology and providing solutions to power people’s dreams just like we do,” said CITGO Vice President of Supply and Marketing, Karl Schmidt. “CITGARD customers have been requesting on-road availability of CITGO lubricants for quite some time, and this partnership will make our products more readily available to our customers.”

For nearly 40 years, the CITGARD line of heavy duty engine oils has evolved to meet the demands of diesel engines. Engineered with a proprietary additive technology that protects engines running at higher operating temperatures and fuel injection pressures, these oils have been designed to meet tighter wear limits and lower emission requirements. In addition to improving fuel economy, they also increase cold start-up lubrication and provide engine durability.

From October 1 – November 30, Pilot Flying J is offering 2,500 points to myRewards members when they choose CITGARD products for their oil change with Pilot Flying J Truck Care*.

“As the largest operator of travel centers in North America, we are committed to providing the best services and technology to keep professional drivers and their trucks moving,” said Dave Latimer, vice president of shop strategies and operations for Pilot Flying J Truck Care. “This partnership with CITGO will help us provide a one-stop service solution with an expanded line of quality CITGARD products for our guests.”

CITGARD 600 15W-40 and CITGARD 700 Synthetic Blend 10W-30 will be available at all Pilot Flying J Truck Care centers, demonstrating that CITGO lubricants are committed to meeting its customers’ needs.
