Pennzoil announces four full synthetic motor oils

The family of full synthetic motor oils are made from pure natural gas, not crude.

Pennzoil is introducing four products into their full synthetic motor oil portfolio: Pennzoil Extended Care, Pennzoil Start Stop Protection, Pennzoil Maximum Power, and Pennzoil Hybrid. The family of full synthetic motor oils are made from pure natural gas, not crude.

These four full synthetic motor oils are engineered to meet the requirements of motorists’ engine types and driving styles. The products will be available for purchase from select online retailers beginning November 1.

With fully synthetic products made from natural gas, Pennzoil can ensure drivers are protected and confident with industry-leading technology under their hood.”

Pennzoil is the first motor oil made from pure natural gas, not crude, according to the company. From that 99.5 percent pure and clear base oil, with fewer impurities than typically found in crude oil, Pennzoil adds its high-performance additives to create Pennzoil Extended Care, Pennzoil Start Stop Protection, Pennzoil Maximum Power, and Pennzoil Hybrid.

Pennzoil Extended Care Full Synthetic motor oil

  • Designed to help extend engine life, Pennzoil Extended Care Full Synthetic motor oil combats engine aging by providing engine cleanliness by reducing sludge formation. With wear protection, Pennzoil Extended Care provides oxidation stability to protect against oil breakdown and provides enhanced fuel economy. Pennzoil Extended Care will be available in the following viscosity grades: SAE 0W-20 and SAE 5W-30.

Pennzoil Start Stop Protection Full Synthetic motor oil

  • Optimized for start and stop driving conditions, Pennzoil Start Stop Protection Full Synthetic motor oil provides wear protection for start/stop driving. Reducing deposits and sludge buildup, Pennzoil Start Stop Protection improves engine performance, enhances fuel economy, and provides wear protection for millions of starts and stops, according to the company. Pennzoil Start/Stop Protection will be available in the following viscosity grades: SAE 0W-20 and SAE 5W-30.

Pennzoil Maximum Power Full Synthetic motor oil

  • Engineered to help maximize engine performance, Pennzoil Maximum Power Full Synthetic motor oil provides horsepower protection for high performance vehicles. Pennzoil Maximum Power helps keep engines clean to maintain vehicle performance and provide horsepower protection. Pennzoil Maximum Power will be available in viscosity grade SAE 0W-30.

Pennzoil Hybrid Full Synthetic motor oil

  • Delivering power efficiency and performance for modern hybrid engines, Pennzoil Hybrid Full Synthetic motor oil optimizes energy efficiency and comes in a lower viscosity grade that provides improved fuel economy and wear protection. Pennzoil Hybrid provides faster low temperature flow for easier cold starts and has volatility control to reduce oil consumption. Pennzoil Hybrid will be available in viscosity grade SAE 0W-16.
