Diesel Laptops launches online heavy duty truck part database

Sept. 21, 2018
Truck Parts Cross consists of over 1.2 million heavy duty truck part numbers, along with cross references to other manufacturers of those parts.

Diesel Laptops, a provider of commercial truck diesel diagnostic software, repair information and hardware, launched a free software program called Truck Parts Cross.

Truck Parts Cross is a database consisting of over 1.2 million heavy duty truck part numbers, along with cross references to other manufacturers of those parts. This includes both original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and aftermarket.

This is a no-charge, free platform offered to anyone that wants to use it. Users can use the free desktop application, the website, or the mobile apps that are available on both the Google Play and Apple iTunes stores under “Truck Parts Cross".

Features also include images of parts, ability to leave community feedback on parts for other users, part descriptions and single sign-on for all platforms.

“With my 25 plus years of dealing with heavy duty truck parts, I can tell you that cross referencing parts is a challenge," Nate Knorr, product manager of Truck Parts Cross, said. "You are either using Internet searches, hundreds of vendor specific websites, or other expensive third party platforms that require contracts. This product solves all those issues.”

Tyler Robertson, Diesel Laptops CEO, added: “We are continuing to build products and services that our customers ask for. Our goal as a company is to save our clients both time and money, and with Truck Parts Cross we’ve done that. Nate and his team have done a tremendous job building this product, and we are excited to give this away to the entire trucking industry.”
