The Q-Shield from American Diesel and Gas, Inc., insulates the air intake system and other engine components, allowing the air to enter the intercooler close to ambient. This results in the air being cooler and denser with a high level of oxygen, thus achiving a more complete combustion, and thereby reducing fuel consumption by 10 to 20 percent.
