The Heat Screen GOLD from Design Engineering is designed to keep engine and exhaust heat from intruding into interiors and components. Heat Screen GOLD is a reflective heat protection barrier that will protect and keep components cool in the most demanding applications. The matting is manufactured from high temperature metalized polyimide lamination, bonded to a robust 20 oz. heat treated glass fiber base material. It is able to reflect direct heat up to 800 degress F to keep critical components such as air intakes and interiors cool and protected.
