The Carrier Transicold ComfortPro Diesel Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) are designed to reduce fuel consumption and help users comply with anti-idling regulations. The ComfortPro APUs provide 12,000 BTUs of cooling and up to 10,000 BTUs of heating to help provide year-round driver comfort. The 6 kW generator is designed to provide ample power, maintain truck battery charge and automatically keep the truck engine warm in cold weather. When plugged into a 110V/120V source, these APUs feature a shore power option that enables functionality without running the APU’s diesel engine.
