This agreement signals the final milestone of STEMCO’s reshaping efforts and the refocus on their core wheel end and kingpin product lines.

STEMCO, an EnPro Industries company, announced the sale of their Goodyear licensed air springs product line. This last step to reorganize its product portfolio allows STEMCO to fully refocus its resources and capital on innovating the core product offering of wheel end and Kaiser products and solutions. STEMCO, the manufacturer of the Goodyear licensed air spring product line has sold the business and the Super Cushion and Spring Ride brands to Turnspire Capital Partners.

“The air spring line has been a tremendous product offering for STEMCO, and we know that we are leaving the customer base and employees in good hands,” said Eric Vaillancourt, president, STEMCO. “This decision signals the completion of our recent reorganization efforts, and we look confidently to the future of STEMCO, where we will continue to innovate, engineer, and manufacture products of the highest quality.”

The sale is pending Mexican government antitrust approval, and STEMCO will continue to service the air spring business through a transition services agreement for the foreseeable future.
