Reading Truck appoints new president

Prior to joining, Greg Freeman was president of the Graham Packaging Company.

J.B. Poindexter & Company announced the appointment of Greg Freeman as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Reading Truck Group. 

“I am pleased to announce today the appointment of Greg Freeman as President and Chief Operating Officer for the Reading Truck Group. Effective April 2, 2018, Greg will lead this very important business unit of JBPCO and report to me,” said JBPCO’s Chairman and CEO John Poindexter.

Prior to joining Reading Truck Group,  Freeman was president of the Graham Packaging Company, the household, personal care and automotive business. In this role,  Freeman had responsibility for a multi-million dollar division with 22 operating facilities. Prior to Graham, Freeman served as VP, Business Strategy and Development for Celanese, a multi-billion dollar global company. Earlier in his career,  Freeman served in various leadership roles with W.R. Grace and the Grace Construction Products Group.

Freeman earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University and his Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management and Finance at the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School. In addition, Greg earned his Master of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania.
