With the final attendance numbers in hand, NAFA proudly announces the 2014 Institute & Expo remains the industry’s largest learning and networking event by bringing together the most fleet management professionals year after year. Close to 700 fleet management professionals registered for the conference, which took place April 8 -11 in Minneapolis, MN. The data proved once again that the I&E is not only the conference fleet managers trust most, but I&E is the conference they endorse and will recommend to their peers.

"The I&E just keeps reaffirming its dominant position in the world of fleet. Fleet managers from all over North America make it a ‘must-see, must-do’ conference, and they are spreading the word," said NAFA Chief Executive Officer Phillip E. Russo, CAE. "It is tremendous news -- to know that, as the I&E keeps scaling up in size, the demand is right at pace."

The 2014 event boasted more than 60 hours of educational sessions, as 674 fleet managers took advantage of the conference's top-quality education, visited the exhibit floor with more than 250 companies showcasing the latest products and services, and enjoyed the second annual presentation of the Fleet Excellence Awards. Keynote presentations from Peter Sheahan and Simon Sinek, two internationally bestselling authors and leadership experts, rounded out the four-day fleet manager experience. Attendees networked at a wide array of organized gatherings and receptions and took full advantage of all the event had to offer.

Russo added, "The I&E has the largest number of fleet manager attendees of any conference. It is the best validation for the years of hard work that go into our events. It shows that we are delivering on all we say we're providing fleet professionals, and they're getting the maximum value from it each and every time. It's also a bit daunting because it means we have to keep growing to meet that overwhelmingly positive demand, but that is a challenge NAFA happily accepts."

Finally, Russo added, "It comes down to the membership. We bring events like the I&E and the International Fleet Academy, and our members bring such enthusiasm and trust, and it always translates into success. They are our ambassadors, and NAFA continues to reach these new heights because they keep lifting us up. It's a wonderful feeling to know they believe in what we do and are so loyal to our goals."
