First Transit maintenance teams receive ASE Blue Seal of Excellence

The Blue Seal of Excellence is the highest certification level given by the organization.

First Transit, Inc., a leading private provider of transit management and contracting services, is proud to recognize the following maintenance shops whose mechanics have recently received the Blue Seal of Excellence certification, given by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE): 

  • Santa Maria Area Transit – Santa Maria, CA
  • United Airlines Employee Shuttle – Houston, TX
  • North County Transit District - West Division – Oceanside, CA
  • SLO Transit - San Luis Obispo, CA
  • New Jersey Transit Region 2 – Camden, NJ 

The ASE was created in 1972 to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service. The Blue Seal of Excellence is the highest certification level given by the organization. 

These maintenance shops join 22 additional First Transit shops and 41 First Vehicle Services shops that have been awarded the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence.
