Mitsubishi Fuso continues industry-leading five-year warranty on 2013 Canter Models

June 27, 2012
Five-year powertrain limited warranty covers not only the internally lubricated engine and drivetrain, but many bolt-on components, including the starter, the water pump, and even the turbocharger.

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) has announced that it will continue its full warranty package—including its three-year/unlimited mileage bumper-to-bumper warranty, its four-year/unlimited mileage rust-through warranty, and its industry-exclusive five-year/175,000-mile powertrain limited warranty on all of its 2013 Canter FE and FG Series trucks.

"Our new 2013 Canters are all designed to provide owners with lower cost of ownership across the board," said Todd Bloom, MFTA's president and CEO. "We've proven our superior fuel economy via independent ATDS testing. But that's not the only place where we provide lower cost of ownership. Our exclusive 5-year/175,000 mile powertrain limited warranty can reduce out-of-pocket expenditures, as well as make annual operating costs more predictable. And in this economy, that's a direct benefit to our customers."

Unlike most other manufacturers' warranties, the Mitsubishi Fuso 5-year powertrain limited warranty covers not only the internally lubricated engine and drivetrain, but many bolt-on components, including the starter, the water pump, and even the turbocharger. Complete warranty details are available from authorized Mitsubishi Fuso dealers, or by visiting http://www.mitfuso.com.
