Bridgestone America's wide-base truck tire, the Greatec M847, is ideally suited for urban applications and is meant to deliver durability, improved fuel efficiency, and lower total cost of ownership, the company stated. To do so, the tire features a 26/32nd tread design to increase wear life and scrub distance as well as stone rejector platforms and wide shoulder grooves. The tire's continuous shoulder and reinforced sidewalls also contributes to its durability, and its Turn In Ply design wraps the body ply around the tire's bead bundle for even more longevity. The M847 can be outfitted with IntelliTire, Bridgestone's tire-monitoring service, and comes in sizes 455/55R22.5.
