    Michelin Americas Truck Tires’ X One XDA Energy wide single tire is the company’s most fuel-efficient drive tire to date, thanks to innovative belt designs and Advanced Technology compounds. The tire is made possible by the Infini-Coil Technology - more than a quarter-of-a-mile of steel cord wrapped circumferentially around the tire’s crown to reduce casing growth and stabilize the contact patch, reducing irregular wear. In addition, Matrix Siping Technology helps provide exceptional traction on dry and slippery surfaces. The three-dimensional Matrix sipes lock together for the stability normally associated with solid tread blocks. Michelin says the X One XDA Energy, available in size 445/50R22.5, can help truck fleets save at least 7% in annual fuel costs when used with Michelin XZA3 steer tires and X One XTA trailer tires.
