The Leece-Neville M93 and M97 24V Starters from Prestolite Electric are designed to provide power for a variety of medium duty and heavy duty applications, as well as off-highway vehicles and buses. The in-line, gear-reduction starters feature 10 and 12 tooth models, a clockwise rotation, and a flange type of SAE J542 Type 1. In addition, an integral magnetic switch (IMS) helps eliminate voltage drop issues by minimizing wiring between the relay and solenoid and an electrical soft start helps eliminate ring gear damage.
