In addition to mileage, this tool reads horsepower, idle hours, engine hours, average mpg, battery voltage, gallons of fuel, fault codes and more. According to the company, this tool doesn't require updates. The ECM Mileage reader runs off the power of the vehicle - once the tool is plugged into the vehicle with the vehicle keyed on, the tool starts working. This tool comes with both the 6-pin and 9-pin connectors. This tool also offers a plug for vehicles model year 2016. The ST-509 comes with a one-year limited warranty.
