The UAF site allows a student to be considered for multiple scholarships based on a single application. Those wishing to apply may be graduating seniors or students already in a post-secondary diesel or heavy-duty program.
The University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF) is reminding students that they are offering heavy-duty scholarships for those training to become heavy-duty technicians or studying engineering, business, IT/cybersecurity, or taking other classes for a career in the heavy duty/diesel field. Students who are graduating from high school, those who are already full-time post-secondary students, and former scholarship recipients are welcome to apply.
The application deadline is March 31, 2025. Every student who completes a scholarship application will be considered for all the scholarships they are qualified for (without needing to re-apply to each one). Students can apply online at the UAF scholarship website, where they will need to provide a one-page essay on their career goals, get at least one letter of reference, and submit their high school or post-secondary transcripts. They may also need to add other information depending on the scholarship they’re applying to.
If a student does not wish to apply online, they can also mail their application and supporting documents to Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship Committee, C/O MEMA; P.O. Box 13966; Research Triangle Park, NC 27709-3966. They can also email their work to media@aftermarketsuppliers.org, and will just need to include “Automotive Scholarship Application Information” in the subject line of the e-mail and provide a description of any attached files in the text.
