The Peterbilt Technician Institute (PTI) located in Denver, Colorado at the Lincoln Tech campus began courses for its inaugural technician class.
“This dynamic group of students reflects the growing interest in the PTI tailored curriculum and focus on work-ready skills,” said Danny Landholm, director of Dealer Network Development for Peterbilt. “The Denver location reinforces our commitment to strengthen the number of qualified service technicians to support evolving vehicle technologies, maximizing uptime for our Peterbilt customers.”

The Denver location is the fourth PTI site overall, and its class includes men, women, military veterans, and a member of the National Technician Honor Society. They will study together for 12 weeks, covering various topics on Peterbilt equipment, including fuel, electrical, HVAC, suspension, brakes, and aftertreatment systems, as well as PACCAR MX engines. Additionally, coursework will feature a combination of classroom and hands-on training, and a focus on teamwork and communication alongside web-based skills activities.
Once these technicians complete their program, they will have earned factory-trained technician credentials that are applicable to help them find jobs at Peterbilt dealerships across the U.S. and Canada.
