Nauto launches telematics solution for fleets

Along with its AI dash cam and driver coaching software, Nauto is introducing telematics applications to its program that can track vehicle utilization and maintenance.

Nauto, a fleet safety software developer, is adding telematics capabilities to its driver coaching and vehicle safety program. The company’s new additions will include vehicle tracking, utilization, misuse, and maintenance planning capabilities, along with additional safety alerts.

“Our goal is to provide fleets with a single, powerful solution that not only enhances driver and road safety, but also optimizes day-to-day operations and reduces cost,” said Yoav Banin, Chief Product Officer of Nauto. “Furthermore, the new detector for vulnerable road users represents a significant milestone on the Road to Zero fatalities."

The telematics program will include coverage for a variety of vehicles, including pickups, vans, and large heavy trucks, as well as new safety detectors that can differentiate between pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorcyclists.

These solutions will be available with the same device and software of current Nauto vehicle safety subscribers without any additional hardware, which offers AI-powered driver coaching and detection for unsafe river behavior and potential collision events.
