Regional winners and finalists announced for 9th annual NationaLease Tech Challenge

NationaLease, one of the largest full-service truck leasing organizations in North America, announced the nine regional winners of the 2019 NationaLease Tech Challenge exam, and the three winners who were selected as top finalists following the hands-on skills competition hosted by Universal Technical Institute in Lisle, Illinois. These three top finalists will represent NationaLease at TMC’s Annual SuperTech Competition at the organization’s fall meeting, September 15-19, at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.

  • 2019 TOP Tech: Rick Davis, Hogan Truck Leasing Inc., a NationaLease Member
  • 1st Runner Up: Brian Peters, Salem NationaLease
  • 2nd Runner Up: Sam Hawkins, Schow’s NationaLease

TOP Tech Rick Davis received prizes valued at over $4,000. Prizes for the 1st and 2nd place Runner Ups were valued at $1,200 and $1,000.

The NationaLease Tech Challenge, now in its ninth year, recognizes member company technicians with the opportunity to compete in a three-step process that tests their maintenance knowledge and skills in order to qualify for the title of NationaLease Top Tech. This year, a record 276 technicians participated in the challenge.
