The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), the ASE Education Foundation, and WrenchWay are partnering to promote School Assist, a program WrenchWay created to help connect vehicle service employers and schools to strengthen the technician pipeline for the transportation industry.
“At ASE, we recognize the critical importance of connecting schools with the transportation industry to ensure the next generation of service professionals are well-prepared for the workforce,” said Dave Johnson, president and CEO of ASE. “Our partnership with WrenchWay, utilizing School Assist, allows us to super-charge those connections previously enabled by our Adopt-A-School program. It provides schools with the tools and resources they need in one centralized platform.”

By working with WrenchWay, the ASE Education Foundation is inviting its 2,000 ASE-accredited training program to join the School Assist platform for free. This allows schools the ability to request guest speakers, shop tours, tool donations, and internships from these industry members, and in return, they can browse requests, post available resources for educators, and connect with institutions to develop the workforce.
Additionally, the partnership will provide a lower-cost option for shops and dealerships to connect with schools using School Assist without joining the full WrenchWay Top Shop Program. Finally, the three organizations will work together on marketing efforts and collaborative product development.
