Alcoa Fastening Systems' Fix-A-Thred Repair Kit features inserts, tap, instructions and a three-way installation tool. This tool rethreads the hole, installs the insert, and breaks the tang. Fix-A-Thred Repair Kits are available in a wide range of sizes for both Unified Inch Coarse (UNC) and Unified Inch Fine (UNF). Kits are available in 33 of the most popular sizes from #8 through 1 1/2” UNF. Metric repair kits are available for coarse and fine threads from M.3-.5 to M.20-2.5.
