Hutchins' 2025 mini-straight line sander allows you to achieve a smoother finish when using coarser sandpaper or finer sandpaper grits because its straight-line action eliminates the sanding "pigtails" some random orbit sanders can create. The 4-1/2" x 9" pad helps reach a larger area, as standard 9" x 11" sandpaper sheets can be cut in half for use on the 2025. When using Velcro-backed abrasives, Hutchins recommends ordering the 2025H with a Hookit pad.
