The Scalance MUM856-1 5G router from Siemens is an industrial 5G router that can be used with a public 5G network. The router can integrate into private 5G networks (and 4G networks if no 5G ones are available) to support mobile robots in manufacturing, autonomous vehicles, or augmented reality applications for service technicians. It comes with a IP65-rated housing and can be used outside the control cabinet. The MUM856-1 also supports Release 16 of the 6G standard and provides bandwidths of up to 1,000 Mbps for the downlink and up to 500 Mbps for the uplink, and comes with IPv6 support for communication networks.
