    TESlite Voltmeter Leads

    TESlite Voltmeter Leads is a diagnostic tool that attaches to any digital voltmeter to enable technicians to instantly load test wiring to check for current-carrying ability. It has the capability to identify a loss in voltage in circuits caused by corrosion that standard voltmeter testing can't find. Using leads that contain a calibrated load, when the manufacturer's existing voltage testing is applied to a circuit and a button is pressed, the TESlite immediately identifies open, shorts-to-ground and high-resistance (corrosion) faults, increasing diagnostic speed and accuracy. The TESlite, which has part numbers from Caterpillar, UPS and Volvo, is available from several distributors. Also available from TESlite is a 160-page practical electrical handbook covering all aspects of electrical diagnostics. (The incorrect price for the tool was listed in the July issue.
