    The 2004 line of misting fans from Mistral, LLC, include a portable model and a wide range of wall mounted systems. The company says that a Mistral system provides economically viable means of providing a safe and comfortable open-air area, regardless of the weather. The new misting fans can be permanently plumbed or connected to a standard garden hose and the on-board pump in the fans pressurizes the system to over 1,000 psi, which effectively shears the water on its way out of the nozzle. Every fan is controlled by a computer keypad and has a unique 2-ring system that allows the operator set the mist, giving maximum cooling and conserving water.
