BendPak releases new brand, APEX by BendPak, with shop ramps
BendPak’s new brand, APEX by BendPak, is launching with a family of ramps to lift vehicles for storage or service. Over the next several months, BendPak will release more APEX products, such as two-post lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers, adapters, and more.
“The shop equipment market is noisy and value-conscious right now,” said Tyler Rex, BendPak senior director of marketing. “So, we are making it easier for our customers to get what they need by providing two clear brand choices. Choose BendPak when you want premium commercial equipment built with advanced features to perform in the toughest shop environments for high duty cycles. Choose APEX when you want BendPak fundamentals at a price that protects your budget.”
For now, the APEX ramp line includes APEX Ramps, APEX Tire-Saver Ramps, APEX Garage Ramps, APEX Trailer Ramps, and APEX Four-Post Lift Ramps. These ramps cover most coupes, sedans, and many light trucks and SUVs, but BenPak advises users check each ramp’s weight capacity to make sure it fits their shop.
The APEX garage, trailer, four-post lift, and tire-saver foam ramps feature reinforced contact points, molded-in handles, and advanced coatings for durability and safety. Each one is made from high-density expanded polystyrene (EPS), a proprietary material from BendPak. It is designed to optimize its strength-to-weight ratio, and can support “thousands of pounds,” according to the company. Additionally, EPS won’t dent, rust, or transfer heat for indoor and outdoor use, while its closed-cell structure resists water, oil, and automotive chemicals. Finally, the ramps feature thermoplastic carry handles positioned at a ramp’s balance point.
