NEXIQ's eTechnician now supports Paccar, Detroit

NEXIQ Technologies has released eTechnician 2.12, which enables the latest bi-directional diagnostic support for Paccar engines through MY 2024 and Paccar body and chassis modules for MY 2020 and newer. The update also supports Detroit engines through MY 2024, Ford engines through MY 2024, Freightliner Cascadia body and chassis modules, and Eaton and Paccar transmissions.

“Commercial vehicle repair operations count on eTechnician software for comprehensive diagnostic support and with the 2.12 update, the PC-based solution once again delivers,” said David Shock, NEXIQ Technologies product manager. “In addition to supporting a wide range of Paccar MX EPA ‘17 and EPA ’21 engines, the update also includes DPF and SCR aftertreatment tests, fuel system tests and engine performance tests. It’s also important to note that eTechnician 2.12 provides technicians with tests to clear aftertreatment derates once repairs have been completed.

 Another addition that comes with the latest version of eTechnician is a wide range of new Ford commercial vehicle support. This includes coverage for 2022–2024 F-Series Trucks and E-Series Vans, as well as Transit and Transit Connect vehicles.

Also included in eTechnician 2.12 is the ability to read proprietary Freightliner body and chassis fault codes and parameters from 2013–2024. This includes support for the transmission control modulecentral gateway, maintenance system and much more.
