Last month, Cummins celebrated the assembly of its milestone 2.5 millionth engine, the X15, at the Jamestown Engine Plant in New York. Welcoming members of the media and some of its 1,500+ employees to gather on May 22 in a soon-to-be-renovated area of the plant, the company mapped out its plans to produce the industry’s first fuel-agnostic internal combustion engine platform along with $452 million in upgrades to the facilities.
