Carrier Transicold's 50-Watt Mounted Solar Charging Systems include the 50-watt Trailer Rooftop-Mount System, the 20 Series 50-watt Rooftop Mount System, the 50-watt Rail-Optimized Door-Mount System, and the Charging System for the Solara Heating Unit. The 50-watt Trailer Rooftop-Mount System can now provide 4.2 amps of power delivery, which is about 2.5 times better than the original design. The 20 Series delivers more efficiency and power than the 30-watt panels, and the Rail-Optimized Door-Mount System is designed for domestic intermodal containers. Finally, the Charging System for Solara is a 2.25-amp top-mount system for Solara units. Each of these units utilize tri-layer solar panels and uncut monocrystalline cells to maximize output and feature a charge controller that matches the fixed output of the panel to the voltage required by the battery in question.
