Legend launches FixSteps for vehicle accessibility
Legend Fleet Solutions has released its Fix Steps solution, which provides high-traction, anti-slip steps for vehicles from the front, side, and rear. Simple to install, these steps are meant to provide reliable footing for drivers in all types of weather.
Legend’s FixSteps are made from 12-gauge steel and feature a large surface area, no matter where they are installed. The passenger and driver door steps offer a surface area of 22 ¼” by 91/4”, the side door steps are 48” by 10”, and the rear door provides 54” by 10 ¾”. Each step offers anti-slip tread for greater traction, even when the steps are icy or wet, and the steps come with vehicle-specific kits to make installation easy. According to the company, the steps can be installed in about one hour per step.
FixSteps are designed to improve accessibility and reduce the risk of slips, trips, and falls. They feature a textured pattern for better traction, holes to allow debris to filter through the step, and recessed metal treads to minimize the chance of injuries.
FixSteps work with certain trucks and vans from Ford, Ram, and GM, as well as the BRIGHTDROP EV400 and EV600 vans.
