Lytx and Fleetio are partnering on a new pre-built integration that will link Lytx’s video safety and telematics offerings with Fleetio’s vehicle health and maintenance program.

"Fleetio is excited for this new integration that empowers customers to seamlessly connect fleet safety and maintenance data," said Tyson Goeltz, chief revenue officer at Fleetio. "Lytx and Fleetio together are surfacing deeper insights to help fleets thrive in today's competitive environment."

With the new integration, the companies claimed that users will be able to find and fix vehicle issues when they occur, anticipate maintenance needs, have greater control over maintenance costs, and overall generate more actionable fleet data.

Specifically, the integration entails data sharing between Lytx’s Vision Platform and Fleetio’s software, allowing Lytx devices to send fleet tracking data to Fleetio accounts. For instance, Lytx DriveCam devices can send odometer and diagnostic trouble code data to Fleetio dashboards, which will then trigger maintenance and escalation workflows based on customizable triggers and thresholds.

These odometer alerts will be transmitted daily and included with vehicle mileage tracking, asset utilization, and service notifications at certain mileage intervals. The two companies also plan to include engine hours, vehicle location, and other alerts later in 2024.

The pre-built data connector is designed for easy set-up, and Lytx stated its tech support team would be on-hand for implementation, onboarding, and a “flip-a-switch” experience. Fleets should note that while there is no charge for the integration, they must have a subscription to both Lytx’s Fleet Tracking Service and Fleetio’s fleet maintenance software.
