Engineered Machined Products (EMP) has developed a robust heavy-duty diesel grade 11 in. electric fan for secondary engine cooling applications. The design utilizes a brushless, sensorless motor capable of running on 12 and 24 VDC (a 340 and 600+ VDC version is in development). The unit is completely submersible and is rated IP67 compliant, making this product ideal for heavy-duty on-and off-highway diesel and military applications. The fully controllable electric fan is also reversible, making it possible to blow dirt and debris off the radiator to prevent clogging, while improving air flow for more efficient cooling.
