Saf-Holland, a global manufacturer of trailer suspension and axle systems, truck suspensions, fifth wheels, landing gear, and coupling products, announced the introduction of its Holland True Lube Grease.
True Lube landing gear grease
True Lube grease, formulated specifically for Holland landing gear, features:
- A -40 degrees F to 150 degrees F operating temperature range designed to ensure crank operation
- Formula stability for a consistent smooth operation
- Corrosion and oxidation protection
- Oil bleed control designed to reduce oil leaks and prevent grease hardening
- Salt water resistance which enables it to last in harsh coastal environments
- Anti-wear and load carrying prevents gear and screw damage under heavy loads
True Lube will available in the second quarter of 2019 in 5-gal pails, 14-oz tubes, and 120-lb drums.
The company also introduced an enhanced version of their PH-400 pintle hook, which will also be available in the second quarter of 2019.
PH-405 pintle hook
The Holland PH-405 pintle hook is an update of the PH-400 pintle hook. The PH-405 is manufactured with austenitic manganese steel designed for enhanced wear. It’s used with 2-3/8-inch drawbars on heavy duty ‘A’ train (converter dolly) double and triple applications for bulk liquids, dry bulk, aggregates, and quarry materials.
The rigid-mount design with an eight-bolt mounting pattern is compatible with the company's PH-400 model, and the Premier 2400, 100-4, and 470 models.
Backed by a two-year warranty, the PH-405 pintle hook can be used with or without air chamber.
