NACFE, Fleet Advantage to hold webinar ahead of CARB prebuy
Oct. 25, 2024
The two organizations will hold a webinar in November discussing how fleets can adjust their procurement plans to meet CARB’s deadlines, including how to balance both cost of ownership and emissions levels.
NACFE and Fleet Advantage are hosting a webinar on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, at 12 p.m. EST discussing fleet procurement and allocation strategies ahead of the California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) zero-emissions requirements.
The webinar will feature Mike Roeth, the executive director at NACFE, and Brian Antonellis, CTP and SVP of Fleet Operations at Fleet Advantage. Together, they’ll discuss the strategies fleets should use for asset acquisition and develop a procurement roadmap that considers OEM offerings and market trends. They’ll also examine how to use performance data to optimize procurement and discuss how organizations can use operating data to assess the viability of electric vehicles while incorporating various alternative fuels with diesel technology in the coming years.
More specifically, Roeth and Antonellis will review CARB’s prebuy timeline and pertinent case studies to explore how fleets can be proactive with their procurement cycles, and work to plan for the next three years to lower both total cost of ownership and emissions. They’ll also discuss how fleets can build multi-year procurement plans, modernize their fleet, and create an ESG roadmap, all while emphasizing the necessity to plan sooner rather than later.
