Phillips Industries made two product enhancements to increase the performance of its WEATHER-TITE M2 liftgate electrical assemblies designed for corrosion prevention and introduced the M2 Charge Kits, combining the enhanced WEATHER-TITE M2 with easy-to-install cable support. WEATHER-TITE M2 features dual pole J3082 plugs that are unbreakable, non-corrosive, and completely molded to the electrical cable. The WEATHER-TITE seal at the front of the plug blocks moisture and contaminants from traveling past the connected union inside the socket, preventing corrosion from developing in the liftgate electrical system. Enhancements to the WEATHER-TITE seal and added protection at the back of the plug provide added operational benefits. The M2 Charge Kit is a back-of-cab charging system that includes the enhanced 15’ coiled WEATHER-TITE M2 cable with 48” lead and a 25” QWIK-CHANGE tracker spring kit with QWIK-CLAMP for charging cables.
