TecNiq Inc. introduced the K20, a sealed 7” round bus light. The K20 represents a significant advancement in the bus light industry, being the first and only hermetically sealed light, according to the company. Now, with TecNiq’s K20 light, busses across the country and into Canada no longer need to worry about water intrusion, dimming lights, and more. The TecNiq K20 meets FMVSS 108 standards, and all applicable SAE standards. The K20s come available in stop/tail, turn, reverse, and flasher versions – with red, amber, and clear (reverse) lens options. TecNiq’s K20 7” round is available with a pigtail unsheathed connector and meets the IP68 rating for dust and waterproof incursion.

The K20 lights are housed in black ABS, with automotive grade polycarbonate lensing, for longevity and durability. TecSeal potting is utilized to protect and provide 100 percent circuit board protection for extreme weather conditions, the company says. The K20s are a surface mount design utilizing highly efficient LEDs. The K20 also delivers over 100,000 hours of performance, with a minimal amp draw from 0.014A on tail models, to 0.9A on flasher models (stop/turn = 0.255A).
