Heliox, A Siemens Business, is debuting a new charger, the Heliox 44 kW V2G. Featuring vehicle-to-grid capabilities, this next-gen, all-in-one DC fast charging system for EV fleets is designed to empower fleet operators while supporting energy resilience, according to the company.
The charger offers a 44 kW output for fast, efficient charging and is ISO 15118-20 and SAE J2847 compliant. Compact and featuring a NEMA 3R-rated enclosure for indoor or outdoor installation, the system also offers wall-mounted or pedestal charging, as well as flexible AC input settings from 15A to 56A. Plus, each charger includes an LED to indicate a vehicle’s real-time State of Charge and a 7-in. LCD display for other charging session information. The Heliox 44 KW V2G can operate in temperatures ranging from -22 degrees F to 122 degrees F.
For added flexibility, fleets can program their chargers for time-of-use charging and schedule energy transfers. And with bidirectional charging and discharging capabilities, fleets can use the Heliox 44 kW V2G charger to return energy to the grid and potentially sell back their surplus energy.
The charger also has UL 2202, UL 1741 SB, and UL 9741 safety certifications, 5m or 7m cable lengths, and OCPP (1.6J and 2.0.1, ready for 2.1) communication, Ethernet, and 4G cellular connectivity.
Finally, the charger features preventative maintenance support from Heliox and a 24-month warranty.
