Eaton expands low-voltage auxiliary power solutions for aftermarket

The solutions now available to the aftermarket include power distribution and circuit protection products, power conversion options, and vehicle control solutions.

Eaton is making its portfolio of switches, circuit protectors, and power distribution solutions for commercial vehicles available for the aftermarket. The release includes various fuse breakers, DC/DC converters, and vehicle control solutions.

“Expanding access to our aftermarket portfolio allows us to provide customers with innovative, durable and adaptable power management solutions,” said Leandro Girardi, director, Aftermarket, Eaton’s Mobility Group. “Eaton’s solutions are engineered to meet the rigorous demands of modern transportation and industrial markets.”

More specifically, Eaton is releasing fuses, circuit breakers, junction blocks, and fuse boxes with direct wire and J1939 compatibility to aftermarket customers. As well as this, their power conversion options include DC/DC converters, and battery equalizers and inverters with power levels ranging from 70W to 3kW. All of their power conversion options include IP67 sealing for dust and water resistance.

Finally, Eaton’s vehicle control solutions include traditional or multiplexed configurations, such as electromechanical toggles, pushbutton and sealed rocker switches, and J1939 keypads and electronic switch modules.
