Hendrickson HAULMAAX EX next-generation heavy-duty rear rubber suspension system is now part of the chassis enhancements for all Freightliner Vocational M2, SD and Plus models. The HAULMAAX EX suspension uses equalizing beams on the suspension to distribute the load equally between both axles, maintaining traction in off-road and uneven terrain conditions. An integrated jounce stop protects the spring system from over compressing, helping to extend component life and reduce maintenance costs. Bar pin end bushings were designed to provide rugged axle connection and extend bushing life. Pairing the suspension with TRAAX ROD torque rods enhances stability, and articulation is increased for improved on/off-highway operation. Capacities include 40,000, 46,000, and 52,000 lbs.
